Swimming Lessons

Allie took swimming lessons at the YMCA again this summer and she loved them. Last year she liked them, but wasn't as comfortable. This year it was fun to watch her hop right in and show the other kids how to do it. All of these pictures were taken on the last day. The rest of the days we had to sit in a room with windows and watch, so we wouldn't distract the kids. The last day they took their tests and got to play.

Here she is swimming on her noodle.

Here she is doing a back float

Here she was practicing blowing bubbles in the shallow end of the pool.

She loves the Duckie slide. They all got to take turns going down it at the end of the day.

We are hoping to squeeze another set of lessons in during the fall or winter. She also wants to try dance this year, so we will see what the schedules are like.

What a good little swimmer! Next summer you can swim off the pontoon (with your lifejacket) without holding on to Heather!!
